Salvation

In the Word of God, in John 3:16-17, Jesus said: "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through Him."

God's greatest desire is to give us a better life today, as well as one that will begin once we leave this earth. Because of the transgression of Adam and Eve in the beginning, all human beings are born into the earth sinful and needing salvation. A very high price had to be paid to provide that salvation to you. Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God, was literally nailed to a wooden cross, died and was buried.

"But God demonstrates His Own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8)."

Jesus died for you, for your sins. The good news is He did not stay dead! In three days God raised Him from the dead and He ascended up to heaven. He is now at the right hand of God. Because of this, Jesus Christ is the only Way to salvation.

"I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me (John 14:6)."

Heaven has only one door and Jesus is it. Here is what the Bible says we must do to receive this salvation.

"That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved, for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation (Romans 10:9-10)."

It really isn't very complicated, but it will require your utmost sincerity. If you are willing, pray this prayer aloud:

"Dear God, I know that Jesus Christ is your Son, and that He died on the cross and was raised from the dead. I know that I have sinned and I am asking for your forgiveness. I am willing to turn from my sins and receive Jesus as my Lord and Savior.

"Today, Lord, I receive everything You are and everything You have for me. I also present myself completely to You. According to Your Word, I am saved; I am born again. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus' name, Amen."

Your new life has just begun. This new life will be wonderfully exciting if you closely follow Jesus. Here are some important tips for doing this.

First, read your Bible every day. If you don't have one, go get one.

Next, We would like to invite you and your family to come and attend Agape Life Family Church. So please contact us for service dates and times as well as directions.

Finally, tell somebody you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior. In fact, share it with as many people as you can.

Please feel free to contact our ministry and let us know that you have received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
